USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center

See where tennis history is made every year at the U.S. Open Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, right next door to old Shea Stadium and the grounds of the 1969 New York World’s Fair. As the site of one of tennis’ Grand Slams, Flushing Meadows has seen epic hard-court action over the years—Connors vs. Borg, Evert vs. Navratilova, and legendary wins by namesake Billie Jean King. When the Open’s not going on, amateur players can take classes at the Tennis Center.
